Charter School Funds – How to Place a Purchase Order
When placing a purchase order with your charter school, please include the following information.
1. Student or Family Email Address
We must have the student's or family's email address on the purchase order. This cannot be an educational specialist's email address.
If your charter school's purchase order doesn't have a place for this email address in the contact information, please add it to the order notes.
Why is this important?
- Your TalkBox.Mom app login and Box shipping sequence are tied to your family's email address. Please use the same email address for every purchase order.
- If you're splitting payment between multiple students, use the same family email address for each student so you don't receive duplicate Boxes.
- If you've ordered Boxes before, using the same email address ensures you'll continue with the next Boxes in your sequence.
2. Your Language & Boxes
On the first line of your purchase order, include:
- The language you'd like for your Boxes
- The number of Boxes you'd like for the school year
- How frequently you'd like your Boxes delivered:
- Monthly
- Every two months
- Every three months
For example: Spanish – 4 Boxes – Every two months
If needed, we'll adjust your shipping schedule to make sure all your Boxes arrive before the school year ends.

Write the total cost of your Boxes on your purchase order.

3. Your Phrasebook
On the second line of your purchase order, write the language you'd like for your Phrasebook using the name Use [Language] at Home.
For example: Use Spanish at Home
Phrasebook Pricing
- $25 when ordered with one or more Boxes
- $35 when ordered on its own
4. Shipping
FREE Media Mail Shipping
We cover the cost of Media Mail shipping!
Priority Mail Shipping
If you'd prefer Priority Mail shipping, the additional cost is:
- Boxes: $10 per Box
- Phrasebook ordered with Boxes: FREE additional shipping! Your Phrasebook ships inside your first Box.
- Phrasebook ordered on its own: $8
Include any Priority Mail shipping costs on your purchase order.
5. Sales Tax
Calculate sales tax based on the shipping address.
If you're unsure of the amount, we'll add the applicable sales tax to your purchase order.
6. Submit Your Purchase Order
Fill out any additional information your charter school requires and submit your purchase order to your educational specialist.
